While menopause and headaches go hand in hand, doctors can easily treat this type of pain. The majority of the time headaches associated with menopause are caused by hormone changes, which is treatable. Menopause causes sudden hormone changes and they will cause all the normal symptoms of menopause: mood swings, headaches, hot flashes, etc. It is your doctor’s job to provide pain relief and in many cases they will have knowledge of several areas to explore if you are having difficulty in finding a treatment that works for you. The medical area of menopause and headaches is very exciting for doctors as the actual causes other than hormones or why the severity of the headache varies from person to person, may come down to your genetics or other physiological factors.

If you suffer from frequent headaches, neck pain or jaw pain, you might want to visit a dentist before you reach for any painkillers.

Experts say that people with misaligned bites often have jaw and neck muscles that are overworked. Those overtired muscles can lead to a number of ailments–including headaches, neck and jaw pain-that people don’t associate with dental problems. LVI Global, the leading postgraduate training facility for dentists, specifically deals with such issues. LVI Global trains dentists to use a number of techniques that help improve jaw position by focusing on what’s known as the “neuromuscular bite.” Here’s a closer look at how an LVI Global-trained neuromuscular dentist might treat the pain caused by what is known as TMD:

I have had a headache for over 4 months now. Been to Dr., had MRI, getting blood tests, blood pressure fine, so far no sign of intercranial pressure or stroke. I do not see an end in sight, lost faith in Doctors.
I have other, more serious, health issues to contend with, I have a fairly high tolerance for pain and I need it for enduring this…it is a pressure headache with the intensity of a severe migrane 24/7, nothing works.
So anyone who has these chronic daily headaches, how have you coped?
What do you you everyday to get through each day?
I mean do you still drive and stuff?
