What should I do for frequent headaches?

For the last week or so I’ve been getting headaches every day, sometimes more than once a day. They hurt so bad I sometimes feel like they’ll never go away. When I get them it feels like it goes from my temples and then to behind my eyes. It gets worse from noise and light, but I think that’s normal for all headaches. I take ibuprofen when I get one, but I don’t think I should be taking it everyday for these headaches.

What would be causing this and what should I do about it?

Headache with no relief help?

What could be causing my headache?
What type of headache do I have?
I have a heaache in my right temple and it started in my neck and moved to my temple. It hurts worse when I cough or bend over. Is this a tension headache? I have been bad about drining water the last few days. Could I be dehydrated or just tense? What would be a fast remedy? I am at work and have tried Excedrin, a coke and water. No releif.

I’m a 22yr old female and I get all kinds of headaches except migraines (thank God). I know how to handle my tension headaches and my hormonal headaches, but these darn cluster headaches defeat me every time. The best treatment I’ve found so far is caffeine. It tempers the pain a little but I still can’t bend over or sneeze without being blinded by pain.

I can’t take most pain medicine because of the heart medication I’m on, which is just as well since they don’t do anything for my headaches. But I’ve tried them all anyway, Excedrin, tylenol, even oxycontin (just makes me high), and the like. Any suggestions on how to handle these bad boys?

To Cure Migraine Headaches Naturally

Headaches are comprised of two major categories, primary and secondary. Headaches belonging to the primary group are not caused by underlying medical conditions while secondary headaches are the result of a medical condition such as trauma, infection or possibly even a brain tumor. Most headaches belong in the primary category.

The primary category headaches include migraine headaches and tension headaches. These two headache types are the most common of all headaches with tension-type headaches being the most common. Tension headaches constitute about 75% of all headaches while migraine headaches affect as many as 30 or 40 million Americans, or approximately 10% or more of the American population.

I’ve had headaches for 19 years everyday!! Chronic pain. I have been told it is an optical nerve from the neck and it triggers headaches daily. Does anyone know of something I can do to be healed of these. I have been told if its in the memory bank of the brain…the cycly cannot be broken..is this true? Can anything be done?
Yes, I have seen many specialists…they all say..it can’t be fixed…or there is no help available. I take Maxalt daily, but, that seems to have side effects of heart pains and stress. I don’t want to take drugs..but, I can’t stand the pain. I do pray and ask for Gods help. I believe he has helped me many times but, so far has not healed me

I have migraines and also tension headaches at times. I was wondering if there is anything I can do in addition taking medications to help with the pain and symptoms.

Have you had headaches lately or for a long while?  Have you been told they’re from stress?  If so, you have reason to be doubtful. Dr. David Posen (The Little Book of Stress Relief, 2003), diagnoses chronic stress with a checklist.  Items queried include clenching of the jaw, teeth grinding, sore, tight muscles, and dizziness and, of course, headaches. It’s no mystery that long-term exposure to stress can really be problematic for you.

When stress is acute, however, your body will gear up its stress response system to help you meet the danger or trouble.  Your heart may speed up and beat harder, your muscles may tighten up, you may feel dryness in your mouth, you might begin to sweat profusely and you may develop a knot-like feeling in the pit of your stomach.  Headaches, however, are rarely associated with acute stress.  With acute stress, the body needs to be alert, not suffering from headaches.  In fact, if you didn’t have this excited type of response to sudden danger or stress, you would probably need to be checked to see if you’re alive.

Menopause vitamins and menopause herbs do exist. When considering menopause vitamins, understand that if your primary hormones are out of balance, experiencing menopause symptoms can be the result.

For women, estimates are as high as 90% of women will suffer the aches, pains and emotional stresses of PMS. Other symptoms affect nearly half of women who report irritability, mood swings, cramps, hot flashes, breast tenderness, migraines or headaches, lack of energy, bloating and bad skin.

Migraine Headache Relief …..?

I had a Migraine come on as I was driving my Fedex truck today. It was so bad I had to pull over and take a half hour break. I get the type that rotate from one side of my head to the other. It is a shimmering type of sensation and I can’t see peripherally from either side.

Am I crazy? Or does this happen to you?
