While cluster headaches can come on quickly and become quite severe and even disabling, they are rarely a serious concern, and do not cause any type of permanent damage. They can, however, be a serious detriment to one’s daily life, particularly because the duration of these types of headaches can be as long as a few hours. They also have a tendency to recur in groups or “clusters” over a period of a few weeks or months, leading many sufferers to have to live with the concern that another severe headache could strike at any time. I have had this headache for over 24 hours. It hit suddenly around 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. It started in my occipital area then spread to my neck and my uppershoulder/scapula/clavicle area. I’ve already exceeded the dosing for excedrine, and I’ve tried naproxen as well, and it hasn’t helped at all. I’ve tried sleep, ice and a HOT bath, and those haven’t worked either. I’m at my wits end, and if I can’t ease the pain in the next 24 hours I think I’m just going to go to the ER.
Does anybody know any other relief meathods or home remedies I can try to ease the pain?

Many women who have migraines and headaches seem to watch their head pain disappear during pregnancy. Almost 70% of women with a history of migraine headaches improve during this time. Unfortunately, 30% don’t improve. They stay the same or get worse. Let’s be clear..I am talking about moderate to severe headaches that are not relieved by Tylenol.
The headache in pregnancy may become more frequent and more severe as estrogen levels rise in the first trimester. If you are one of these women, you might improve if under the care of both your OB/GYN and a neurologist.

I have had chronic pain in both my legs for over 2years now. It is a constant day and night pain that feels achy and at some times sharp. I recently have developed tension headaches as well. I have seen dozens of doctors and have tried several different meds. I recently have been going to acupuncture and feel some relief but it doesn’t last long. I’m thinking its muscle tension. Can anyone relate? And how do you cope? And how can i get some relief?
