When you are pregnant you want to do everything that is best for you and your baby. With this in mind it is important to realize that we are surrounded on a daily basis by all sorts of chemicals and medicines and some of them can be hazardous.
It is very difficult to keep up with current research into these chemicals and compounds, as this seems to change on a daily basis. People who work within these industries will be familiar with the situation when one day a chemical has certain hazardous and toxic levels, and the following week new research confirms that it is even more dangerous and hazardous than it was thought to be.

Being a mother is the most blissful experience but the effect of pregnancy on the headache in particular is mixed. The chronic migraines disappear during pregnancy. This change in women is brought about by the hormonal changes inside the body, the effect indeed comes as a relief for women who suffer from chronic migraines and who have had to stop taking their regular medication because of possible complications it could have during pregnancy.

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and I keep getting bad sinus headaches and my allergies are driving me crazy! I’ve heard that Benadryl is okay for pregnant women but I don’t have the facts. Thanks!

I’ve had this headache for 5 days now and I’m starting to go a little crazy. I can hardly sleep. I’ve tried hot and cold compresses – switching every 30 seconds for 10 minutes and it didn’t do anything – all 3 times that I tried. I need medication!

I am 17 weeks along!

I am having a headache, which is kind of right behind my ears and across my forehead. I know it definitely not a migraine, as I am an old pro at those and what they feel like, but is this that headache some women get in early pregnancy due to the rush of hormones??
