A guy is suffering from severe headaches for years with no relief. After trying all the usual cures he’s referred to a headache specialist by his family doctor. The doctor asks him what his symptoms are and he replies, “I get these blinding headaches; kind of like a knife across my scalp and…’’
He is interrupted by the doctor. “And a heavy throbbing right behind the left ear?”

“Yes! Exactly! How did you know?”

Strange recurring headaches?

Last night, and all day today, I have had these strange headaches. The only possible cause is eating, because the headaches were after dinner, and breakfast/lunch today. They were all tension-type headaches, they start in the back of my neck and move forward to the front of the forehead. For dinner last night I had fettucine Alfredo and zucchini, breakfast was a small bowl of cereal with milk, and lunch was a typical Japanese meal, miso soup, gyoza, and salmon rolls. Does anyone know the cause of this and what I can do to relieve it? I only get the headaches for two hours after eating, and when I drink green tea there is temporary relief. Pressing between my thumb and pointer finger only worked for a little bit. Please help, this is seriously interfering with my focus.

Fibromyalgia, ADD and pain relief?

Im 20 and I was diagnosed with both fibromyalgia and ADD in junior high. I can’t afford to see a doctor regularly and am not abig fan of taking medications without it being necessary.

Most of day-to-day pain is in my neck and upper back (although certain activities can make the pain worse in other places) and it gives me frequent headaches. Sitting and studying is often painful, but the addition of meds for my ADD makes it worse.

What are, or where can I find, some stretching and relaxation techniques that will help relieve some of this tension so that I can study and/or help promote focus?

Nausea and tramadol help?

I’m prescribed to 50 mg Tramadol pills to take 1 or 2 when needed because I get horrible tension headaches almost every day. They help my pain very much and the doctor is hesitant to prescribe me other types of pain killers since I’m a teenager who smokes weed, though I would never sell or misuse my prescription drugs because I actually really need them for my pain. The only problem with the Tramadol is that it usually makes me feel pretty nauseous. I’ve tried eating before and while taking the pills but then I just threw up everything I ate later.
I love the pain relief of these pills but this nausea is horrible! I haven’t been able to keep much down lately due to these pills. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help this? Or is anyone who’s taking Tramadol found a good way to stop the nausea?

Please don’t say eating/drinking stuff with ginger, that doesn’t really help me. Thanks and 10 points to whoever helps the most! :)
