Could I be going threw early menopause?
I’m four months late, I am NOT pregnant.
These last four months its been like constant pms. Cramps, back aches, I’ve been extremely moody, bloating, weight gain, breast tenderness and my skin has been breaking out horribly.
I’ve also had a lot of headaches, trouble sleeping, I’ve been sore all over for no reason, itchy skin, and what worries me the most: hot flashes.
I’m going crazy right now.
I’m only 18, and I recently found out that my mother went threw early menopause.
I’ve also been getting a lot of hairs on my chin.
I forget to mention that.
I said EARLY MENOPAUSE.
yes it happens.
My mother went threw it when she was in her 20s.
I’m going to the gyno tomorrow.
I just cant sleep (again), and I because worried after finding that out from my mom.

18 is a little TOO early for menopause, I think.
You are getting hairs on your chin too! You are practically an old lady already. [I had hairs on my chin at 18, but I think only about 4.]
Well, you’ve got some kind of hormonal anomaly. Go see a doctor about it.
i don’t think so…
I know this isn’t what you’re looking for, but you need to speak to a doctor. There are a few diagnoses for your symptoms, ranging from stress to more serious conditions, but none of those diagnoses can be made over the Internet. If you pressed me I’d say that it sounds like polycystic ovary syndrome, but I wouldn’t worry too much about what it is before you get in to see a doctor.
You must be super stressed out. Try to relax and be gentle with yourself until you can get in to see a doctor. Stress wreaks havoc on the body and “going crazy” isn’t going to help you feel better. Have some tea, read a book, watch a movie with friends…do whatever you need to do to calm yourself a little bit until you can get in to see your healthcare provider. Remember, I don’t know your exact family history, but 18 is incredibly young for menopause unless you have some sort of growth hormone disorder. Breathe!
I would think that it is probably an ovarian cyst and these will usually clear up on their own.
If it continues and gets really bothersome then go see your ob-gyn.
