Could this headache be a migraine?
Today i was sitting in class, and the left side of my vision suddenly got cloudy. (kind of like when you look into a light and you get those little dark spots…except it was much worse than that), and it kept getting worse, so i went to the school nurse. She thought it was a problem with my contact lens, but it wasn’t. It eventually went away, and i got a massive headache. The pain was/is only on the right side of my head, from right above my eye to about my ear.
I took advil(ibuprofen) because that’s all i had at school, even though i know tylenol is better for headaches. The pain got a little better, but it’s still kind of there as a dull ache, and whenever i move my head quickly it hurts.
My mom and my brother both get migraines….
Do you think this is a migraine? Are these typical symptoms of a migraine?

Yes.You will die in 4 days.
That’s a disease called GBH
That’s short for General BigHeadedness.
Don’t worry.
It’s migraine.
Yeah it sounds like that.
From what you have explained, it sounds like you are having what is called “Migraine with Aura”. There are many different symptoms, and they do not all have to be present in order to suffer from it.
I also suffer from these from time to time, and usually the onset varies from blind spots to flashes in my vision; than of course followed by the very uncomfortable migraine to ruin your day/night.
Luckily for us, this condition is not life threatening, and it can be dealt with by either changing your diet, or stress reduction methods.
If you want to read up more about it, I suggest looking through here:
