I have early pregnancy headaches. The DR says they are pregnancy headaches because of the hormones. Mine feel worse on one side but it feels like someones squeezing my head as hard as they can. Do any of you have this?

Probably tension headaches. I get them EVERY DAY since becoming pregnant. If its really bad, take a tylenol.
Drink lots of water. Take baths to relax.
It’s the worst thing I’ve had to deal with during pregnancy.
Mine hit me pretty hard a few weekends ago. I ended up getting a migraine at work on a Friday, went home, ate something and went to bed at 6 pm because my head was throbbing on the right side so badly. I slept til about 10pm and then when I raised up in bed, it hit me again. I ended up sleeping until 8 am Saturday morning and it had eased up when I got up. But later that evening my husband and I had gotten into it over something stupid as always and it came back. Was in bed by 7 that night and slept til 7 the next morning. Haven’t had one since, but I’m very wary of them since even when I’m not pregnant I’m prone to migraines. Good Luck..
oh yes…well as for me i get harsh headache and i tend to get dizziness…and very weak but if you sleep it off it won’t work it will get worst….go see the doctor….
It sounds like it could be a migraine, which can be triggered by many things, including hormone levels and vitamin deficiencies. While I’ve had migraines all my life, the ones I had during pregnancy did go away once I had adequate prenatal vitamins. Migraines are different than other headaches in several ways. They are typically only on one side of the head and the pain is excruciating and even debilitating. Sensitivity to light and nausea are also symptoms. If you already have morning sickness, that makes it doubly bad. If your prenatal vitamins don’t help in a week or so, I’d check back with your doctor if your headaches are severe. You probably shouldn’t take any regular migraine medications, but there are other options, like biofeedback, acupuncture, even chiropractic adjustments can help. Also read up on them some and see if you have food triggers. For example some people get migraines from chocolate, yogurt, red wine or aged cheeses. Everyone is different so pay attention to your diet and see if you notice any patterns. Hopefully your vitamins will help, and your hormones will level out and they’ll be gone as quickly as they came. Hang in there.
your Dr is right the rising hormones and all the changes your body is going through with the new pregnancy makes headaches very common and yes you are right they are very severe ive had them so bad with both of my children i literally could not get out of bed the best and only thing i can suggest is apply a cold compress lay down drink a big glass of cool water and take two tylenol! i hope you feel better honey! pregnancy is not all glitz and glamour
but it does have an awesome outcome.
