So, I’m fourteen and I am really sensitive to headaches and migraines. I get them easily and I get them bad. I almost get a headache a day. Headaches tend to run in my family and they do seem to be getting worse but my symptoms seem very different than everyone else. For instance my dad gets maybe two headaches a week (tops) and he normally gets them at the end of a stressful and strain-ful day. Normally when his back hurts and similar problems; i tend to get them for considerably less intense reasons. For example I get headaches in crowds, or if there’s alot of noise, or if there’s flashing lights, or if i go too long (a couple hours) without food. Or similar things. I also tend to have different tactics to help my headaches feel better. Most people like a hot shower, some fresh air or a drink of water to help a headache as well as being in a dark, quiet, environment. I normally have a cold shower (not too cold) and fresh air tends to make it worse. Water doesn’t make it worse but it doesn’t help either. Most doctors warn against drinking or eating something with caffeine because they say it will make the said headache worse, but caffeine tends to make mine better and i normally retreat to my room which is dark, but i find that having loud music on makes me feel better than silence.

Now at a party the other day one of my little cousins neighbors and I were talking about my headaches and she gave me this big fancy term saying that I might have it because I seemed to show alot of the symptoms. I said I’d google it, but of course I forgot it. I tried finding it on my own but to no avail, so I’m stumped.

Anyone know of some sort of disorder (or something similar) that has the symptoms i listed above?
