I really want to get my first tattoo on the back of my neck but i have daily headaches. I have been getting treated by a neurologist and have been diagnosed with chronic tension headaches, frequent migraines. I also have very tight muscles in my neck and back that i get a massage for every week. I’m on a few different medicines to try to treat my horrible daily headaches, but nothing has been seeming to work. I recently starting getting steroid/cortisone shots into the area around my occipital nerve (back of my neck).

With my history of headaches and neck/muscle problems would it be a bad idea to get my tattoo on the back of my neck?
