Your agenda for the day is supposedly packed, but your mind abruptly throbbed in discomfort. You already know that forcing hard would do no good and that means you decided to stay at home. Once more, you have missed work.
Should you experience extreme headaches more regular than the normal, then there could possibly be something wrong. You could possibly be battling chronic migraine headaches. Migraine develops when blood vessels in the brain enlarge, compelling nerve fibers to discharge pain-inducing chemical compounds. It causes the sympathetic nervous system, which manipulates the body`s reaction to pain and anxiety. When sympathetic nervous routines in the intestines heighten, migraine signs or symptoms such as nausea, looseness of the bowels and nausea happen.

Question by : Dear Chronic Headache Sufferers….?
Directed toward anyone diagnosed with Chronic Daily Migraine, Chronic Cluster Headache, or Chronic Daily Headache. I’ve had Chronic Cluster Headaches everyday for 5 years, they get worse at least twice everyday.
Are there any medications that you’ve tried that have helped? Has there been anything that’s helped?
I’m hospitalized at least 8 times a year for this, I’ve seen Doctors all over the country and in parts of Europe.
ANY help you can provide would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

All migraine sufferers do not have the same experiences. That sounds rather elementary, but you’d be surprised how many individuals simply assume that a migraine is a migraine. This simply is not the case. In fact, one’s migraine disorder is as unique as he or she is. Some even suffer from migraine headaches. When chronic migraines increase in frequency, they can be extremely debilitating. For one, the pain only worsens in time (left untreated), and you can experience myriad other symptoms, including swelling and nausea. By educating yourself about migraine triggers, symptoms, and treatments (including surgical procedures), you can regain a normal life and control over your condition.

Question by Sloanfesta: Is there such a thing as chronic tension headache?
I have constant tension headache since I was a teenager. I am 34 now. There’s no serious pain, but it feels like a tight band is wrap around my head. I also feel like there is compression on the surface of my brain. It’s there all the time.
I’ve been to the doctor. Had an MRI. Came out normal. Was given muscle relaxants and other sedatives. Nothing worked.

In recent times the International Headache Society has added a third primary group of headache(s) to the two primary headache types – migraine and tension-type headache.
This third primary group includes Cluster headache, Chronic Paroxysmal Hemicrania, and SUNCT (Short lasting Unilateral Neuralgia form headache attack with Conjunctival injection and Tearing!) and Hemicrania Continua.
Chronic Paroxysmal Hemicrania is very similar to Cluster Headache and is often described as the female equivalent of Cluster Headache (Cluster Headache is more frequent in males).
