Headache or cephalgia is a common ailment, and most of us suffer from headache at one time or another. Pain or ache in any part of the head, forehead or neck may collectively be referred to as headache. Headache may occur due to multiple causes, and depending upon the cause, headache may be classified in to primary headaches, secondary headaches and cranial neuralgia, facial ache and other types. Primary headaches are not associated with any disease. They spring on their own. Examples of primary headaches are migraine, tension headaches and cluster headache. Secondary headache is caused due to some major disease or ailment such as brain tumors, meningitis, encephalitis, and hemorrhage in brain, strokes, caffeine withdrawal and discontinuation of analgesics. The third type, cranial neuralgia or facial pain, is caused due to the inflammation of nerves in the head and upper neck.

In recent times the International Headache Society has added a third primary group of headache(s) to the two primary headache types – migraine and tension-type headache.
This third primary group includes Cluster headache, Chronic Paroxysmal Hemicrania, and SUNCT (Short lasting Unilateral Neuralgia form headache attack with Conjunctival injection and Tearing!) and Hemicrania Continua.
Chronic Paroxysmal Hemicrania is very similar to Cluster Headache and is often described as the female equivalent of Cluster Headache (Cluster Headache is more frequent in males).

Many menopausal women experience symptoms of joint pain. Medical experts have investigated the connection between hormonal changes and this type of pain.

Not everybody is lucky enough to have the perfect teeth or the perfect bite, and for those that don’t it can cause some serious problems in terms of pain and functionality within their mouth. An incorrect bite can lead to your teeth not forming properly and causing more complex problems with your jaw, and one of the problems is TMJ syndrome.
TMJ stands for Temporomandibular Joint. This is where your incorrect bite has caused such a problem upon your jaw; you will feel major discomfort within the joints of jaw. This is because misaligned teeth or an incorrect bite cannot support your jaw muscles correctly when eating or chewing. The muscles will then re-arrange and equip them to cope with this incorrect bite, but will then cause much major problems further down the track.
