Assuming it’s not already a caffeine withdrawal headache, lol.
I’m a sixteen year old girl and for the last three months I’ve had extremely painful migraine headaches. I’ve been to the doctor and he’s given me prescriptions for Midrin and for Ulrum. Neither of these worked for the pain, which is generally in the back of my head or like a halo on the top of my head. He also has given me a prescription for Darvacet, which worked great for the pain but put me to sleep and made me so loopy I couldn’t function. When I have my headaches I have extreme sensitivity to light and sound and sleeping seems to be the only way I have any relief. They are so bad that I can’t get myself out of bed and they are causing be to miss school. Do you have any advice for me, and is there a medicine that you have used that I can ask my doctor about.
I went on a hike earlier and was up on the mountain for about 4.5 hours, in mild heat (but very breezy) and sun. On my way home I got a migraine that I’ve now had for seven hours.
I have a few prescription migraine medications due to chronic headaches I’ve had for 3 months (no known cause yet), including Amitriptyline and Sumatriptan. I’ve taken both medications since the onset of this migraine with no relief. Could I possibly have heat exhaustion? My headache is the only symptom of it that I had until about an hour ago when I became nauseated, but it’s bad and I can’t get rid of it even with prescription medication.
well to start of this question i am a 15 year old girl and a sophomore in high school. I have chronic daily headaches (which means i get headaches EVERY SINGLE DAY) and although i see many doctors for the physical aspects i can not get my emotions under control. I see a psychiatrist bi-monthly to talk about dealing with pain. But i really can’t make through one day anymore with out bursting into tears. I have had this for a little over 4 years and it is not getting any better. I do not need a medical recommendation that is why i got to the doctor 3 or 4 times a month. I just need help coping…. any tips and advice that you could offer me would be great. Im really in a lot of pain and anti-depressants/ anti-anxiety meds just dont cut it anymore. I need help getting through each day without having a major melt down
thank you so much, please take the time to read and answer
im sorry but if i got rid of the pills i would probably kill myself. they’re anti-depressants, if i stop taking them i will become depressed and suicidal again. trust me, i’ve tried stopping the pills.
Some have found the benefit of chiropractic treatment to help with headaches. However, chiropractic as a whole is thought to relieve back pain if the spine is out of alignment. Many have never thought about asking a chiropractor to help with their chronic headache pain. It has been shown that as many as one out of six Americans suffer from major headache pain, and some have daily pain. More chiropractors are seeing patients that suffer from headaches, and they are providing a surgery and drug-free way of pain relief.
Chiropractic treatment as a whole is about helping pain, and relieving patients live healthier lives, pain free and without the use of prescription medications. Many headaches, particularly those that are chronic in nature are due to the spine near the neck being out of alignment. A chiropractor manually manipulates the spine, which increases blood flows and helps with posture. Additionally, the doctor may apply trigger point therapy and massage along with some stretching or exercising the patient can do at home.
I have a constant headache, and it advances into a migraine. I get sick and have to hide in my room with pillows over my head. The headache never goes away completely, and I haven’t found anything that offers any relief.
I’m prescribed to 50 mg Tramadol pills to take 1 or 2 when needed because I get horrible tension headaches almost every day. They help my pain very much and the doctor is hesitant to prescribe me other types of pain killers since I’m a teenager who smokes weed, though I would never sell or misuse my prescription drugs because I actually really need them for my pain. The only problem with the Tramadol is that it usually makes me feel pretty nauseous. I’ve tried eating before and while taking the pills but then I just threw up everything I ate later.
I love the pain relief of these pills but this nausea is horrible! I haven’t been able to keep much down lately due to these pills. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help this? Or is anyone who’s taking Tramadol found a good way to stop the nausea?
Please don’t say eating/drinking stuff with ginger, that doesn’t really help me. Thanks and 10 points to whoever helps the most!

The Court Confronts a Grievous Injury
For years, the Bush administration has worked with industry to try to water down the public’s protections by preventing states from enforcing rules and regulations tougher than those required by the federal government.
It has tried to apply this policy of pre-emption to rules issued by a slew of federal agencies and is now asking the Supreme Court to approve its improper ideological stand when it comes to drug safety
Any irritation to the structure of the neck and head can lead to a person experiencing a headache. Furthermore, the sensation of pain can transmit it through associated nerves to other parts of the body such as a neck pain that can cause a person to suffer from a headache as well. No doubt, everybody is liable to have suffered from a headache at some point of time in their lives since it is indeed a very common illness.
