Everyone feels stress. It’s a part of life. But when daily stressors become so overwhelming that they begin to manifest themselves in physical, emotional or behavioral problems, and then stress overload may be the culprit.

Stress Overload is caused when pressures at work or home become so intense, or last so long, that you begin to feel overwhelmed and out if control. This happens when the hypothalamus continually releases adrenaline and cortisol into the bloodstream, which causes the body to react by increasing blood pressure and heart rate, opening blood vessels wider to allow more blood to be pumped to major organs, and large muscle groups, and glucose to be released by the liver to increase energy and stamina due to ongoing stress in one’s life.

Those who suffer from migraine headache will usually have a chronic problem and will continue to have migraines off and on throughout their lives. So how do you know if you have a normal headache or a migraine headache? A migraine headache is usually a pounding pain or throbbing on one side of the head, often around the eye, forehead or back of the head. It may feel like the pain radiates through the eye to the back of the head. Though the pain is on one side of the head, it will not occur on the same side each time, it will change sides for each migraine attack. Other symptoms that may accompany a migraine headache are vomiting, nausea, sensitivity to light and in some cases people may experience an aura which occurs before the actual headache pain. An aura may be seeing lines in front of your eyes, losing your site for a few seconds, hearing noises or having strange tastes and these are often the warning signals of an oncoming migraine. Not everyone will experience an aura when they have a migraine, some people will have migraines with an aura while others suffer from common migraine without an aura. The other type of migraine is the mixed tension migraine when a person experiences a mixture of a migraine headache and a tension headache. In this case the person may have pain on both sides of the head or just on one side. Other symptoms may include a tightness in the head or a feeling like having a clamp over the head. Tension headache may also include feeling depressed, sluggish and weak. Unfortunately for those who do suffer from any type of migraine, they are likely to reoccur. There are medications to help with migraine pain and also natural therapies that may help with migraines.

People with chronic headaches often have pain 25 or more days a month, pain that is far more debilitating than scientists previously thought, according to an Ohio University researcher who is leading a study of 245 chronic headache sufferers.

Results from the study found that 66 percent of participants have headaches nearly every day.

I just had sinus surgery 2 weeks ago in hopes it would help, I don’t think it has. There has to be someone out there who has a similar problem that could possibly help?? Thank you everyone!
