Although the symptoms are generally the same, migraine headaches come in different types. For women, migraines are generally related to the fluctuations in hormones from menopause and menstruation. Perimenopausal and menopausal women are likely to experience migraine headaches when hormone levels fluctuate, but there are other menopause symptoms that will cause migraine headaches. There are psychological and physical aspects that also affect incidences of migraines.
Psychological influences include emotional fluctuations (like mood swings), anxiety, and stress. These specific influences are a result of a chemical imbalance in the brain and need to be addressed quickly. The chemical imbalances are what trigger the migraines.

I’m four months late, I am NOT pregnant.
These last four months its been like constant pms. Cramps, back aches, I’ve been extremely moody, bloating, weight gain, breast tenderness and my skin has been breaking out horribly.
I’ve also had a lot of headaches, trouble sleeping, I’ve been sore all over for no reason, itchy skin, and what worries me the most: hot flashes.
I’m going crazy right now.
I’m only 18, and I recently found out that my mother went threw early menopause.
I’ve also been getting a lot of hairs on my chin.
I forget to mention that.
I said EARLY MENOPAUSE.
yes it happens.
My mother went threw it when she was in her 20s.
I’m going to the gyno tomorrow.
I just cant sleep (again), and I because worried after finding that out from my mom.

I am 20 years old and I am having hot flashes and I have had serious irregularity with my period; in March I had a period every weekend and then haven’t had one since. So it has been 19 weeks since I have had a period. I usually never get headaches but I get one almost everyday now. And most the time they are at the base of my neck or in the top right of my head( above my ear and temple). I have been experiencing slight abdominal pain. My hands and feet get clammy, I have been feeling sluggish and my emotional state has been “sensitive”. My older sister went through pre menopause at 19 or 20 years old and I think that now I may be too. Could pre menopause be a possibility or are these symptoms of another problem?

I’m in my early 20′s, no children, unmarried. Lately I’ve had some strange symptoms that reminds my mother of when she was going into menopause, so I’m a little concerned.
Here’s the list:
Mild acne (haven’t had it since I was in Jr. High)
Increased amount of headaches
Breast tenderness/nipples changing color
Intermittent skin flushing/feeling hot
Mild weight gain without a cause(I’m an avid exerciser)
Sudden, constant, digestive problems (gas/constipation) without a cause
Lastly, my always regular, predictable periods (every 27 days, 6 days long, heavy bleeding MONSTER cramps) have become almost non-existent.e
Light/Moderate bleeding, no cramps whatsoever, 6 days later than usual, 3.5 days long.)
Could I be going into menopause? What else could cause these symptoms?

Perimenopausal women may experience similar symptoms to PMS, or no symptoms at all. For some women, the cessation of periods can be the only symptom of menopause they have.
About half of women experience slight physical or mental changes while approximately 25% inconvenient and/or distressing problems.

I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and was told my estrogen level was 25. Apparently that is really low. My doctor didn’t seem to concerned she just gave me medicine for the headaches I’ve been having. But I was reading online about premature menopause and I have a ton of the symptoms on there. Is it possible? Also, for the last few days I have been having period type cramps in my lower abdomen, but I’m not supposed to start my period for like three weeks. I am on the pill. A friend told me I could be pregnant, but with my low estrogen and being on the pill is that even possible?
oh and i am twenty one years old
no it was when i was taking the actual pill not the placebo. and I’m not that skinny i have gained a little over ten pounds in two weeks im five seven and now weigh somewhere around one fifty

I am 42 and 6 months ago the Doctor said I was Peri-menopausal. I hormone test came back 41.9 which he said was post menopaual numbers. i missed 5 periods and then started back having periods every month. Some times early some times late, but every month. I also have anxiety disorder. My Question is : I am living in hell on earth. I am so forgetful I can’t remember what I am doing from one to the next. I have anxiety attacks almost every day now. I feel so nerves I can’t keep it together. I have headaches that are so bad. I am dizzy all the time and I hurt in my back and legs. Is this menopause or somthing eles.
I also have blurried vision. And feel like my mind is running away with me. All bad thoughts. LOL
