Tension headache, labyrinthitis or both?
I recently get a tension headache on my left side that goes from the base of my skull to the front of my forehead that lasts for weeks after I exercise, so I stopped. I also experience dizziness which seems to originate at the same side base of skull. Been having this for the same amount of time.
CAT Scan negative.
PCP told me I have labyrinthitis and a spasm.. gave me meclizine and tylenol. I did this for 3 weeks but I still get dizzy spells everyday. The intensity of the headaches are very very low now but I can feel a “slight band” around my forehead.
I went to a chiropractic neurologist who tells me that all of this is being caused by a misaligned cervical neck vertebae. Had 2 adjustments, some relief, in fact the headache has almost gone away, the “band” is still slightly there, but the dizziness is still there on that one side. Usually wake up fine and as the day progresses I get dizzier. Are these two related? What is this? Is it possible that I have a nerve/muscle that is blocked which is causing my dizziness? Who’s correct?
